Cool! Looking forward to that.

There is talk about opening up a chain if all goes well with the first one, which I see no reason why it shouldn't.

All my I are dotted and my T's are crossed!! I have done some serious research and am on my way now to a business meeting. So far so good!! Still missing something.. but eventually I hope that will be filled.

As to me being better... sometimes! I still have good days and I have BAD DAYS like today. I got word that someone that I care for a lot is sick- so naturally, I worry. But I have chemo again tonight.. so I will be sick as a dog!! Definately not looking forward to that at all!! But I must go forwards and not backwards!!

My new moto: Adapt, Improvise and Overcome!!! I shall do just that! I owe it to myself and my wellbeing.

Take care guys/ Gals I hope you all have a great day.

I would definately like to go check it out! Let us know dates and the address and we'll be there.

I'm also glad to hear that you're feeling somewhat better! If there is anything that you need, let me know (I'm in the Miami area - Hialeah to be exact)!

Good Luck girl!!

I deeply regret informing you that the bike shop has been placed on hold for the time being... It will no longer be formed on July 18 as originally planned, because untill Moto and I can get over the loss of a dear friend of ours. Not only was he my friend... but he happened to be my business partner.

Look here at the thread that Moto started on the other forum that we belong to. I am known there as "LiZ" and not "Moto's Girl"

http://www.r1-forum.com/forums/showt...0&pagenumber=1

I will keep you informed as to when it might be opening.

Thank you all.

I just wanted to share with you what I have written about my business partner that is no longer with us!!

It is so sad... that today July 16, 2003 - on the day of your Birthday... we got to see you for the last time.

You were a wonderful family man. You loved your wife and kids and held them in a level higher than I have ever seen before. You were a very caring man to all you came across. You were a man who would be willing to lend a hand to a total stranger at the drop of a dime. That my friend is a special quality that few have.

Carlos, aside from all the birthday wishes you receive. I am speaking on behalf of your forum family. We miss you bro!!! But we will remember you as you would have wanted us too... being The Carlos of olde... your smile would penetrate deep into the hearts of those you smiled upon. Your personality was that of no other... always joking, teasing, and when needed, you were stern. Once in a lifetime you come across such a person... well at least in our lifetime, we will be abe to say that we had met such a person.

You meant a lot to us, especially Emilio and myself. I will never forget all the things you were there for me. I now feel some relief... not completely... but much better than before. Seeing you for the last time, being able to say a prayer to you and hold your hand. That I will remember for the rest of my life.

Because you loved your family so... rest in peace and feel confident that as long as we are around... we will definately look after your family. This is our promise to you. Tomorrow, you will be laid to rest. But you will continue living in our hearts.

We love you and it was great to see you. I played your last recorded message that you left me on Saturday to Emilio tonight... by hearing your voice and being able to see you... I am now able to handle the situation. Thank you for being the man you were. I learned a lot from you and I want to thank you for that opportunity. You truly touched the lives of many.

You are now in a much better place. Please look out for us... oh, by the way.. I am a little worried now. You wanna know why? Because now that you are with the Big Man Upstairs... I am afraid that you just might take over. Damn what a thought!!!

Okay. I can actually smile now.

I do hope you were pleased with your memorial service tonight. We made sure that you had everything you asked for. Your family and your friends... which were in excess of 300 hundred.
We made sure you had your Birthday cake and plenty of happy pictures that your wife, children, and friends picked out for you.

Until we meet again my friend.

Your forum family, and a special "until we meet again" not a goodbye from Emilio and me. We love you.

Today we laid our friend to rest.

The service was beautiful. I'm sure he is very proud to see how his kids stood up and all recited scriptures. One of his younger brothers spoke as well, including reading his obituary. It was so heartfelt.

But after the mass... and while at the cemetary... Carlos's oldest brother, as we were walking up to the final resting place... waited for Emilio to escort the family in carrying the casket to its final destination. I would have to say that it was such an honor to be asked that. I am so proud of you Emilio. You got to carry your friend... the one that had been laying on the floor for so long the day of the accident. And you waited until they had taken him too.

I can't express to you how I feel at this moment. As I am sure I am not the only emotional one still. But that moment, seeing you with the family carrying Carlos was truly a memory that I will not forget and I am proud that I was able to share that with you.

We cannot bring him back. As much as we want to. But you can definately say that you were there with him from the beginning to the end. I am so proud of you. I have no words to express it.

I love you.

A promise made.

It has been 4 hours since we laid our friend to rest. After the casket had been lowered, and as I was looking down into the tomb... I threw my rose in and told Carlos that his friends were going to finish the ride that he had set out on that unexpected tragic day which none of us will ever forget - July 13, 2003.

Emilio and I were first approached by DownsouthR1 - the other personal friend of Carlos, whom used to go to each others homes. Cris approached us with his feeling of finishing off the ride that ended Carlos's life.

Although many of you suggested the same, we had heard it first by Cris. So therefore, I promised Carlos today, just 4 hours ago that I will see to it that this ride happens and that Cris take the lead with a flower cross and all others that were there on the scene follow in afterwards and so on.

I have contacted the t-shirt place that I have done business with for many years as well as my printers to have an "In memory of FastBlueR1 T-shirt".

What I need from those who were there that day. Is to give me a phrase or a sentence or anything they would like to say so that I can have it printer up and placed in the back of the shirts. (Sorry I would love to add more people, but this is only for the ones that were with him at the accident scene).

Please get me that information as quickly as possible so that I can have them start printing it. The front will have a collage of pictures of Carlos that will be furnished by Emilio.

Although Emilio and I are incurring the charges for the t-shirts. We will charge $5.00 a shirt with (ALL PROCEEDS GOING TO "THE CARLOS MION CHILDREN'S TRUST).

Thank you and we definately welcome any feedback and or suggestions. We are all in this together. Let's not forget it.

***Oops forgot to mention that stickers, baseball caps and key chains will also be made***
