So I got a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3000 box from one of the tenants in the beach that left it when they moved out.

How can I get it to work with Comcast? (Calling Comcast is NOT an option).


Anyone know how to modify the box to get it to work? I am not STEALING cable, as I pay for it at my house, just want to get the box to work upstairs

 

I don't think you can bro, They have an encryption with certain companies if I remember right? Who was the original company?

 

Atlantic Bell... Comcast does use the same model box though
