do you think 15w fork oil will make that damper thinner and eisier to turn around? or should i got with 30w motor oil?

i kno i was bein retarded!! well i just did it but relized i dint have 20-50 so i used tranny fluid and its a tad stiffer but im still gonna redo it with 20-50

 

well 30w motor oil is alot better than stock but not nearly as strong as 85/140 gear oil.

 

is it workin out for ya? stiff enuff to take that head shake out for endos?

 

if i was you i would go with somthing just a little thicker, i dont know whats thicker though, maybe 40w. i dont have any idea what these numbers mean.

 

I don't think it needs to be too thick if you're running db bars. And since its not adjustible I def wouldn't go too thick.

+1, i might dish out the cash for a adjustable one . taking it on and off will get old quick and not having one stiff enough might hurt.

whats a decent rod style one beside ohlins? im not trying to spend $500 and i dont really like gpr because it sits in the way.

 

a good rod style is as much as a disc style

 

what kind does alan have, i like to mount it infront of the bike instead of on the top tripple. are shindy any good?

i don't remember , alan got one of my old dampers , if he has the blue one then thats a sprint and that is an awsome damper ..

if it's the aluminum colored one then that a shindy or a daytona


the sprint damper i had was a 5 0r 6 hundred dollar damper with the mounting kit and the other one was about 100 bucks i think
