I don't remember if I had much of a pop. It definitely made a POP sound when I hurt it. My leg bent soo bad, and I heard a pop, I thought I broke it really bad at first. I thought when I looked down I was going to see bone. Then I was surprised to see my leg was still straight and in one piece, I had no idea my ACL was torn, it didn't even cross my mind.

 

How old were you when that happened? Did you have your ACL replaced or did they just **** off a piece of it? When I first fell, my leg was permanently bent for weeks. It was the worst pain ever. I'm not looking forward for round two in a few months.

 

I was in 10th grade. They had to replace it. I cant remember now if I chose the cadavor or synthetic ligament. I couldn't walk on it, but it was straight. Although I could easily bend it out of place.

my doctor talked me into the cavador. He never mentioned anything about a synthetic ligament. He said I could use part of my quad or hamstring but I don't see the point in using another muscle and then needing that to heal as well

I hurt my knee because I went out drinking and drank too much and fell! sheesh. What a way to learn a lesson.
