there are boas in the everglades and i know 4 other people that have been bit by brown recluses in florida

i personally know 2 people that have been bit , one guy let it go for a day and half his arm turned black ,he has a giant dent in his arm where the skin rotted ....lol

 

quick off topic question...

soooo i have some new brake pads for the hb...but my rotor looks pretty beat,,like it has a big lip on both side on the top,andthe bottom....
should i put a new rotor on,or just throw on the new pads???

 

if you have a new rotor then throw it on if not then just throw the pads on ..

 

ye ai dont have another rotor,,but is there any way i should break the new pads in..

 

they will take longer to set and make sure they set good before needing your HB, and they probably wont last as long

 

the key to breaking in pads is to not get them too hot..

i just ride around and hit the brakes for about 2 seconds then ride for about 20 seconds then hit the brakes again and i do that till they feel like they are grabbing good

 

hmm soo how do i get them to set??
or should i just spend the money and get a new rotor??

how fast do you go threw pads? just get a new rotor now and change it when you have to change pads again unless yours it to beat and has a bunch of cracks in it. break the pads in like roger said.

well this will be my first change of pads (they were used to begin with)
and the rotor dosnt have cracks i dont think,,but if you took your fingers and put them at where they mount and ran them up it sinks in at the bottom and the top has a big lip...

i had a rotor that had big lips around the out side and i put the bike on a wheel lift and let the tire spin in first gear and i hit the rotor with one of those sand paper grinding discs to get rid of the lip ....lol

had to take the rotor off and put it on backwards to get the back side

 

My neighbors look at me like im crazy when I do that. I just put the bike
on a rear stand. On and off rear break for a couple min's. Go back inside,
give it 15-20min's, come back out an do the same like 3 or 4 times.
