front end

so after riding a couple roads in lake county i realized how much of a joy it is to ride WITH a steering damper.... after about 70mph any little movement from me on the bars created a SERIOUS front end shake... it was kinda scary... everyone behind me through the corners thought i was gonna get bucked off my bike everytime i rolled on the throttle outta a corner... LTW!!! i NEED to get those brackets made!!! :YEAH and maybe balancing my front wheel will help a lil too cause it seemed like i had a super hop going on... which if u think about it with the minimal hop in the front wheel at 70 mph, the front tire is coming off the ground thus creating minimal contact with the road and maybe thats why it was so easy to go into a speed wobble.... idk... i was jut thinking about it... and anyone know the stock preload setting on the 06 1000rr forks would be awesome to know... there are no lines to judge from like the earlier models... its like Drastic Dans forks... there is just the big nut that u turn.... i think maybe the front end is outta whack... but i wanna get my steering damper on!!!!

Re: front end

eh i got a quick question for you guys too, i been gettin some nasty head shake here recently too rollin endo's. i have been rolling what i thought was balance point endo's for about 3 months, and starting videoing them and relized i need to be alot higher, so now for about 2 weeks i been just suckin it up and gettin it up quick and high and roll em fast, i'm starting to get over the increased speed cause i'm rolling and not just braking but i can't get over the speed cause before i can get real far the bike shakes pretty violent, but i can kinda steer em and they roll pretty fast but i can't get comfortable haulin *** for the damn wobble i get every once and a while

do i need a dampner and does anyone have one for my r6?

sorry so wordy

Yes you need a dampner! ESP if your rolling stoppies to keep it from tank slapping and helps out alot! Whenever you get to BP it will feel like your flipping over. Just like when you first hit BP in a wheelie where it felt like the bike was back flipping.

Not hating... but you do need to get on that. I'm 6'2'' clip ons & FF....

You're like the same height as me but with T-Neck bars...
