Went down to Wilmington, NC for the weekend to ride with Division 1. Long story short, passed a cop doing a 2nd gear gangsta spread and got pulled. Another guy was doing some combos but he ran and got away. Pretty much, the cop was pissed and called me an "Evil Kneival mother****er". Got a careless and reckless. So, Im kinda done on the streets because lawyers are expensive.

$235. Got a lawyer. $100 court cost, $135 lawyer fee. Not too bad. The lawyer said he can get it down to "improper equipment".

Haha.... I dont think there was any way I could got out of this ticket. This cop was one of those gung-ho type guys. He was screaming before he got out of the car. What sucks is the guy who never did a wheelie also got a ticket. The cop said I saw 2 wheelies so Im writing 2 tickets. We told him the other guy who did the wheelie was the one who ran and he told Jason (the guys who didnt wheelie), you are guilty by association and so you are getting a ticket. So, pretty much, the cop is a ***** wrinkle and got pissed about the wheelies and the other guy getting away.

Right. I dont think he would have because he couldnt identify who was doing wheelies. When he pulled up he asked us "which one of you were doing the wheelies?" Of course, we blamed it on the guy who ran because he got away. But since there was 3 bikes and 2 wheelie riders, he wrote tickets knowing that he is 50% right.

 

Yeah, down in NC, they are weird like that. Its not a trial, you just get a court date and since I cannot be down there at that date, I got a lawyer. Plus, the lawyer has connections and can get it dropped down to almost nothing. I lucked out. Kinda.

 

damn Im ganna move down there. I got a reckless dropped to neglegent driving and I still had a $700 fine, $700 suspended fine for a year and $500 for my lawer I was just happy to keep my license.

 

oh yeah you'll get let off then your fine... I wouldn't post up on too many public forums they can use them against you in the court of law ask billy D.
