929 idle

My idle is not pulling at all. I got 52 tooth sprocket on the rear. It is weird though I set it at 2400rpms and sometimes it will spike to like 5000rpms and sometimes it will drop to about 1400rpms. Maybe it just needs a tune up. I'd like to work on no throttle hand wheelies but it wont pull enough to just ride idle wheelies. I have to keep tappin the gas to get past balance point and if I even touch the brake it wants to fall.

Re: 929 idle

929 idles do that. Keep it at like 2200 and it's much better. If it's falling.. you're using too much brake

Re: 929 idle

I let Rick Payne ride it and he said it doesn't feel like its pulling either. His f4i pulls harder. Maybe its that exhaust valve or somethin. His 929 pulls way harder.

Re: 929 idle

install idle cable on throttle bodies that actuall adjust idle and disconnect you exhaust valve and hold it open
loose low end power but just clutch harder
