I am strongly considering accepting a job out of St. Petersburg. What I am wondering is what the cost of living there? Anything I should consider about the move? Where is a good place to look for places to live in the area? I am a cheap bastard and dont want to spend a whole lot.

 

If you woulda said South Florida I woulda told you good luck trying to find something cheap but St.Pete is north of me so there may be hope. Good Luck!

 

it not too bad in st pete....

clearwater.....now thats the tightest part of florida.....but they are alot of cumgusleing ****** too......and the cops are worse than the ****......and you can take that to the bank :YEAH

 

st pete is not expensive at all, i'm most likely moving down to fort myers after winter..just need to find a job...

its cool beans out here in st pete... the cops dont really chase ether witch can be good ro bad thing... lol half decent living, dont go to downtown st pete unless you value your life hahha

Ok I live in St.Pete Currently..and have moved to one part or another in all of Pinellas county..OK, here's the deal...stay north of central ave (keeps ya out of the southside crack house area) Apts are plentifull in the Gandy area..we have what we refer too as Apt isle down 4th street..decent living low cost (2BD bout $600 or so a month)...Lots of bike nights locally!!! PS cops aren't that bad most of them around here ride but, we do have our share of ****** on the force like anywhere else!!!
