Florida Highway Patrol acting up!
Re: Florida Highway Patrol acting up!
its very hard question with lots riding on it.... take ticket, eventully loose bike/jail...........or............run,eventually get caught, loose lic 4 life/ jail/ loose lots of money too................at the end result its very simalar though, both of them your chancing your lic, money , and jail time. not to mention yor bike..
its sticky situation both ways but we could also just hope like hell they never wanna light us up
but thats never gonna happen.

Dam bro you have really put a lot of thought into it.. Top speed is not really an issue down here in South Fl. because there is so much traffic that a cop would never successfully be able to maintain 120 or higher like a bike can through traffic.. I am not saying that running is the way to go or that I do it.. I do not reccomend it at all.. but I will say that it is not hard to get away.. But like Moto said they have it set up now to where if you match a desription they are already waiting for you ahead. And I could see them trying to pull that off and getting away with it.. Cops have it out for us and it is just something that we have to deal with. Everybody handles it differently but I do not plan on leaving my bike in any ditches any time soon..

The ticket clinic has worked for me with tickets in the cage.. I can imagine with the type of media that we are getting that it is very hard to get a motorcycle speeding ticket thrown out in court.. I think that ticket clinic only guarentees when you are like 25-30 over.. But most times when and if you get a ticket on the bike it is for a lot more than 30 over...

that's because they figure you are ready to die anyway...why bother...
a FHP told that to me one day - he said when he sees bikes doing that he just lets them go because it is too dangerous to chase.
don't get me wrong I love speed - and only a sport bike rider understands- it doesn't feel like you are doing what the speedo says - but to cages, cops and by-standers believe me....120 looks like INSANITY....right?
Re: Florida Highway Patrol acting up!
I have gone by them at 120-140 and seen them hit their light start to pull off and then immediately turn the lights off and pull back over.. by the time he even gets up to 130 I will be home with my feet up and a drink in my hands.. Most of the time they wont chase.. but when they do that is when it gets fun.. and dangerous.. I do not know for sure how ticket clinic works.. I have only used them for tickets in the cage and they have been good to me for that.. but I don't think I will ever have to use them for a bike..

it is addicting for surrrrrrrrrrr! Re: Florida Highway Patrol acting up!
[B] Ok people heres my input on the whole thing, If you dont wanna go to jail, get tickets or spend a ton of money because of cops the for one register your bike and have a valid plate for it and also get a motorcycle endorsement licence, This way when you do get pulled over just make up something for me I usually say my throttle sticks some times and I get away with it, and for the bike nights the police wont mess with you if your not being stupid in front of them, thats just my imput on things.
