Noob vids..Progression
Sorry i'm not as good as most the people on this site..Just posting to show progression. I didn't get to pratice that much from sept to oct but it's coming along..
K the first part of the OCT vid is just little riding..you can skip that.. I just added that to have a little extra stuff.. The Sept vid is my first vid that I made and 2nd time of real pratice other than trying here and there.. The october vid was what I'm up to now.
Sept Vid
For all the people bitching about the riding in the beginning I just put something together without it and checking out my new video editing software.
Oct Vid

Re: Noob vids..Progression
Well since no one else has replied i will. First off might want to cut out the driving around in traffic doing nothing parts at the beginning. Most people that started to watch this probably stopped after the first 15sec. Second thing is it appears you want to learn since you have a cage. So go all out and try the right way. Put your left foot on the rear peg and use the clutch to bring your wheelies up. Just fart around in first gear and get used to standing and popping it up with your foot back. When i was first learning i just went back and forth in a parking lot slilpping the clutch with more and more throttle each time. I had bp standups in a week. Good luck.

Are those all power wheelies? just looks that way cause there commin up slower then clutching usually does. Just keep practicing and you'll get it, i personaly would stick to learning 1st gear BP first just for the fact your goin slower. I brought up 2nd gear once on my F2 (shitty clutch) and it scared the f outa me cause it came up so smoothe then exteremly fast once it got close to BP and i damn near went down, otherwise things look pretty decent for noob stuntin. Trust me i know all about Noob stuntin only been riding 4 months so i just learned wheelies myself. :YEAH

Re: Noob vids..Progression
I have only really attempted to stunt for about an hour last weekend. I have gotten to the point where I can hold 1st gear wheelies to the rev limiter now. What I noticed that helped me clutch the bike up....Start from like 10-12 mph. It is alot easier to bring up and I can hold it ALOT longer. And I am starting to get comfortable in a wheelie. I am also a newbie and that is what works for me. Give it a try.
Re: Noob vids..Progression
yup, i start at 25 mph max in 1st, im gettin good 3 block wheelies now but not consistant yet. usually right around 4000-5000 RPM's is where i start clutching. I just listen to how it "sounds" when ppl do them in stunt vids, very easy to apply a sound to learning. Like when you hear scrape you learn you fall unless your 12'in
Re: Noob vids..Progression
i tryed slow clutches, too unstable and my bike has to go that slow to get em up so im sellin the weak *** 600 i got and im geting a zx9r or somthing. liter is the way to go for me cause im big riding a bike thats hard to get up for average sized peeps so im goin with the bigger engine to help me. i figure whatever works.... i think goin slow like 10 mph is to unstable i would go like 20 or so if i were u. hell ur making better progress than me man , more power to ya bro!!
Re: Noob vids..Progression
Got nuthin' to do with the bike or the power. It's all about the technique...
Ask Beto. He's rockin' a Ninja 250 that makes 1/3 the power your bike makes...
Oh, and to the fellas in the vid... keep at it. It will come. And cover your brake! Get used to tapping the brake and saving it when you don't need to, and it will save your *** the time that you need to!

hmmmm
Where do I begin. I would take the first few posters advice and practice the slow stuff first. Once you get the feel for balance point and brake. Anything is possible. Look for local stunters and take a day and go watch them practice, ask for advice and LISTEN to what you get for answer. If you don't have a good cage, get one.... or sliders at the least. The Oct vid has better footage and just for the record, I almost closed the vid after the first minute of highway riding. You posted looking for suggestions so, give us stunt footage. Keep up the practice and get a new vid off when you get better.

alright man, lets see, good skitchin, good christ air, now just work on standin the bike up, lean back, don't hang onto the tank.. lock your arms, you will notice a huge diff, but remember you have a cage on there, so use it damnit! not gonna learn without fallin, so just remember cover the brake and keep up the practice!
