I am glad CA has a helmet law...I can never imagine myself riding without a lid.

Re: All Riders Must Watch

I see a person EVERY day in FL w/o a helmet... I admit i have riddin w/o a helmet but just like in my neighborhood or sumthin like that. not on a main rode.

And what is just retarded is that alot of them have their helmets locked on the side of the bike while ridding w/ no helmet. Idiots here in FL...

The black and green bike? That would be Kyle Woods and a supposedly broken clutch cable. He was back the next day. That was Stuntwars 2 years ago, if I am not mistaken.

Most of the wrecks were in racing, superbike and Moto GP. I dont see what those have to do with street riding, in most cases the riders walked away with no injury. Wear your gear. Always. Once it starts gotting into the 50's or cooler, I start wearing full leathers. I catch hell for it, but I laugh at the others when they are getting the gravel scraped out of their road rash with a wire brush. And no, the doctors dont give you a pain killer for that, it is to teach you a lesson as much as for getting the gravel out.

Re: All Riders Must Watch

Those are some good injury/wrecker vids. Its totally a part of riding to cop some injuries tho. I'm not real suave on the stunt scene, so I dunno what the injury rate is. But I love the track, and while injuries are something that each person must deal with at some point, it s often a fall and some scrapes and walk away. Leathers have really come a long way in protecting falls. No doubt there is always the fall that lands wrong, or a highside will serve a smackdown, but its the streets that are the dangerous place. There is video footage of stunts and trackdays because the people at those events have cameras to catch the wildness. On the street there are noy nearly so many cameras to attest to the HUGE number of fatalities that occur in intersections, highways, and suburbs. The squiddy street death club seems to gain a couple more members every weekend. At the track having an ambulance on hand and no cars to run into really reduces the risk of teh deth. I dunno what the wreck/injuriy rate is for stunnaz, but i assume its not too bad since i always see you cats practicin on rio bravo away from the traffic and when you lay em down you just kinda step off most of the time. Anyone wanna maybe lemme know what the stunt injury rate it like? The bike fatality rate seems higher for the wheelie kings. At anyrate, i guess the lesson I am getting at is the same everyone else sees from this vid. WEAR YOUR GEAR, and dont get happy on the throttle unless its appropriate. Rossi = #1 :YEAH
