Canon XM2/GL2 Owners...

I know quite a few of you are now using this camera. Well, here's a word or warning - the eject mechanism is a piece of crap! Canon know there's a major fault with this but haven't deemed it serious enough to bother recalling it

Of course, we're just about to head off to this year's TT only to find our 8 month old Canon is ****ed leaving us with the probability that we'll have to drop 80% of what we'd planned to film

If you've got one of these so-called pro-sumer pieces of ****, get it serviced regularly and don't rely on it to not let you down...

It just gets better...

Even though the XM2/GL2 is sold as pro gear, it has abolsutely no pro back-up at all! Neither does the XL1S! At least in the UK

This is an absolute ****ing joke! Canon should be ****ing ashamed of their appaling treatment of their customers! Stick with Sony - they know what they're doing, and their gear's far superior anyway...

Yeah... the XL1 is junk too. I used to think it was the cats *** due to the interchangable lense system..... nope... it's just junk. I've had focus problems and many other mechanical problems. And to make matters worse.... only cannon techs can work on em!
