Getting busted for makin a stunt video

My friend and I want to make a video for a video contest at college. It would include street stunting and jackass stuff. Could we get into trouble from the police, just for the video? Should we hide our identity while riding on the streats? (wear full face helmets, put duct tape on the lisence plate, edit out road signs ???) I asked a lawyer about it, but he didn't know.

They have to see you to do anything about it. I'd wear helmet, so they can't identify, and block plates, after that your safe. they can't do anything else to you. Look at the starboys news thing on TV, they couldn't do anything about that.

just don't **** off any cops, and they will leave you alone, but if they want to they can write you hundreds of tickets, weather it is legal or not. gettin convicted in court is another animal, hard to do

werD....You will be fine man....It will also be best if you use a parking lot instead of just the plain road the whole time. If you use a rad they will watch for it. They did that to us here and now they are always around but whatever not like they could do anything. But i was feeling cocky one day and asked a cop if we would get in trouble (cops in Grand Rapids are cool as hell tho) and he said personally he dont give a **** as long as you wear a helmet and as long as he could watch. He also said if you ask a cop permission and have him watch there isnt **** they could do and they prolly never would. We were drag racing our bikes and everything and they were totaly cool with it. As long as yoyu ask and tell them its for a project or something they most likely will not care. But yeah FTP for life man. ****ers gave me a speeding ticket while i was on vacation

If you are worried then I would use private property and legal places to ride or hide your face completely and I wouldnt even have your tags on the bike at all.

For your school project, it's a great time to use an airport, or get permission to burn up an hour in a parking lot.

Also, once you have the video, don't carry the tape to school

Digitize that sucka into a pc, then add in some subtitles and such.

Now, output the digitized version, carry that. Once video has been digitized it is inadmissable (sp) in court. That still won't stop some **** from wriitng you a ticket if they feel the need to show of that they are in charge, it'll just play hell sticking in court.

Also, you are less likely to catch crap for it if you guys are wearing as much gear as possible, it makes it look more professional, and less like you were just out to break the law.
