Yea, there are quite a few bikes here now. The first time I came here, nearly four years ago, they had just changed the laws regarding CC size. You couldn't ride anything over 200cc . Now you can get what ever you want, but there are some seriously crap riders with some very fast bikes. Alot have just never had the opportunity to ride big bikes. Heaps of small bikes and scooters (well, it is Asia ).

You have to wear a helmet here, but no one does. I saw a guy riding a Hayabusa a while back in shorts, sandals, and no helmet. He must have been doing a 100mph on the motorway. Lots of young guys have got into pulling wheelies around my area, which is quite entertaining.

Bike shops are everywhere, but most are there to fix scooters and pizza delivery bikes. I'd be a bit suspect about taking a new superbike in for a service!!! If you go to the big cities, there are plenty of good shops, Seoul has a really good district with all things bike related in it. Bikes are bl##dy expensive though!!! Funny considering Japan is right next door! I'm going to Seoul to buy a new set of leathers soon, so I'll post some pics of the bike shop area when I get back.

Funniest **** was last time I was here all the delivery boys were wearing replica German helmets on there delivery bikes. I made a joke that there must be a shop that just sells German helmets. Surprise, surprise, I found a shop that just sold replica German helmets.
