Jd-2

I just got my copy of JD-2 and I thought it sucked I mean to that bad, but not that good. Way to much sh*t with fading with backgrounds, and split screen. My fav is still Urban street warriors, Gansta

I bet no HARDLY anyone here actually knows how to REALLY edit sh*t. I bet lots of you haven't even heard of some of the software that Todd is using. Try watching it a few more times .... you'll start noticing things you didnt notice before (editing tricks) ... the video is VERY well edited and crushes all videos out there right now. Stop hating on the top dog!!!! --

ps -- dont see any one else's video selling THOUSANDS the first week!!!

My thoughts exactly! You have to make a video to truely appreciate the effects that were in there. I loved the main menu layout and thought the graphics were top notch .

hahaha.. dear god. i hope you're not serious. nothing against todd.. his videos sell a lot of copies, and they are enjoyable for what they are.. but as far as 'pimp editing'.. get real, please. todd isn't a pro video editor, that's for damn sure. he is a stuntrider who has been involved in putting out videos for a while, yes. and what magical software is he using that no one has heard of? premiere? vegas? avid? fcp? discreet's suite? my money would be he's using premiere, vegas, or fcp. what 'editing tricks' is he using that everyone misses out on?

don't think i am talking **** about todd or anyone else, but the entire stunt genre, as a whole, has the worst editing and composition work i have ever seen. mostly it's people with cheap miniDV cams editing their **** together with premiere and using barn door and teardrop dissolves to fade between scenes. wow. impressive. the stunt scene needs to get smart and realize that if you wanna sell videos to people other than other stuntriders, you need to feature content that people want to see (which i'll give it to todd, he has that on lockdown), and you need to spend some cash on a package that people will enjoy, not just endure because it's on par with the other stuff out there.
