Tryin Other O's Help if can

I've gotten staggard rights pretty consistant, so starting to get some to the left. Just need to get used to goin left and develop reflexes.
Want to get SS, tried some not worth showing. I feel uncomfortably high for SS O, so starting with some FOS staggarded, rear pegs, rear peg and FOS for practice. Don't know but I think I'm raping the HB or trying to go too slow and afraid to commit? I don't know, tell me what if anything you can see that will help or some pointers that got you spinin right round.

Re: Tryin Other O's Help if can

your left circles are coming along pretty good and both feet on the rear peg circles are harder than ss circles....

the best advise i think i can give you is to get ss straight on idle before you start trying ss circles and using one finger on the brake and one on the clutch is the safest way cause you will be able to pull in the clutch and brake at the same time if you need to ...

Re: Tryin Other O's Help if can

Got the proper finger placement, last couple sessions started rideing SS(goin straight) further back and it was feeling good, end up slowing down too much with little HB pulses, ah more practice, everyday would be nice. None for 2 weeks, vaction to Mom n Dad in Cape Cod.

Have to agree, noticed it with other sports. Maybe the mind slows down a bit and gets more focused rather than excited.
Rear pegs are less intimatdating for me.

lookin good man..i noticed on your right hand circles that you'd counter steer to adjust your balance..while you went to the left there was much counter steering.try it out..i'm not the best at givin advice but i've seen the whole counter steer effect help a lot of people...and keep up the good work!!!!

Re: Tryin Other O's Help if can

Goin left is rather new and uncomfortable, but I'm trying to come in with a little more speed and push the bike dowm with the counter steering. I keep weighting the brake foot makin it want to highside. More practice and it will start feeling good.

Sounds like you know what needs to happen, Joe. I'm in the middle of figuring it all out myself. After gettin SS O's feelin pretty good on Sunday, I tried left foot on rear pass. peg, right FOS.....and that felt pretty good. Got a few nice sets in. You may want to try that pos.... Lookin good, though, bro!

Re: Tryin Other O's Help if can

from a squid on o's you look like youre leaning way to far in with the bike going to the left. supposed to be centered with the bike. and like homie said above - countersteer and dip the bike into the o.

Re: Tryin Other O's Help if can

Got the FTI cable HB workin good got the motion pro cable from Bill and no problems, 1st 2 pulled apart. Biggest improvement was useing my stock clutch lever, the ASV lever had a lot of play in it. Took forever to work out residule air in the lines(they're long guessing nearly 10 feet). Now 1 finger can lock the wheel.

Do you mean like getting my nuts and thigh more against the right side of the tank if goin to the left. A habit I had when startin the rights was hanging off the bike, OMR pointed that out and it helped a lot.
