I don't know that I'd call any of those wheelies power wheelies...i'd call it bone stock gearing doing combos using some engine brake...or maybe miles of highways with no rear brake

difference is there was nothing to look at back in those days...that week in daytona was the first time we had ever seen woods, j brown, osr, wheelie boyz, etc...and it was the first time they had ever seen us.

Old school Tomoka Farms rd fist place i ever got a ticket for doing a wheelie and because it was a dead end i had nowhere to run... Lakeland back when longest scrape contests were where it was at watching G-Nice, Digity, Rick Payne and Merk kill **** man i miss those days! i learned more tricks in one week at lakeland than i did up here in NY in a year!!

i swear too zanny, i saw an OG poppin clutch this weekend too!

people forget that the popping of the clutch in a parking lot and for comps is actually very boring and tedious, so some people put it down in favor of other things....those of us who continue to pop have a certain drive....

I didn't even know DTE or any of the originators when I first walked into this .it was mostly just through friends that ride and a couple OGs but it is good to know where it started.. I remember going to stunt wars with my buds for the first time and one of them talking to Damien .. I had no clue who he waas, just thought he was a faN! hah so yeah its good to know where the respect is due!

 

i have that wmv file saved on my old pc thats now used as a foot rest under my desk.....

og **** is always fun to watch.. I remember seeing "typical monday night" back in 02. Must have watched that vid over a hundred times back in the day.. same with "stoppie madness"

 

oh i am a fan , a lost future wives ,jobs and my normal sleeping habits fan . all i can say is that i think about stunt riding 24 hrs a day . i think of ways to make my own parts and to try new tricks . if it came down to dinner with a girlfriend or new tire. I choose tires . every truck i buy , every shirt and pants i buy is for stuntriding .

and folks thats why i am 36 yrs old ! broke! beaten up ! all alone ! no chance of every having a 1.2 kids and the house with a white picket fence .
