A little progress n some cuising

Still can only get the occassional 1 to the left, just need to get the feel and keep my weight off the right foot(practice). Did break 4 to the right with a womping 4&1/2. Figured out for stalls to keep the bike balanced when hoppin back on then start it movin.

Re: A little progress n some cuising

ok im starting to worry , i havent seen or heard the dog in a while ....is he ok ...lol

oh ya heres my tip for the day , when letting go for a sit down no hander have your *** slid back so you are sitting against the passenger seat so you don't slide off and lean in towards the tank till you get good at it and don't let go till you are dropped in enough for the bike to be pulling it self along on idle ..

yep just don't turn it up so high that you push your self off the seat trying to push the brake ....lol

some people hook theyre left foot under the peg to help them from sliding off , not really needed if you just lean forward

Re: A little progress n some cuising

Cool, no hand sit downs I can get away with practicing around here, close to home, hopefully next monday they'll be decent. Hell even just a decent slow sit down would be an improvement.

Re: A little progress n some cuising

the secret is to just get dropped in quick and let go right away , it seems the longer you hold on the harder it is to let go

Pop it right up, get your hands off n roll with it. That's how I've been trying but not popin it high enough from the start. Done a ton of up let go, go 2 feet then it drops.

+1....strange, but true. I like to hook my left foot under the peg. It helps you steer the wheelie. Pulling up on the peg twists the bike to the left, while applying pressure on the tank w/ your right knee twists the bike to the right. It also gives a sense of security that you won't just fall off. I used to do them w/ out hooking my foot........I fell off. A friend suggested hooking my foot, and that's how I've done them since. It feels wierd at first, but becomes second nature.

Lookin good, Joe!!! I'm jellous(sp?) of your O's! I'm just startin to pull a full O now and then.
