First I want to say kudos for Zoltan making the long trip to ride here in the states. That must be hard thing to do, and tuff on the nerves too!!
Secondly I want to say that I will never waste my time going to stuntwars... Not a fan of the venue.
But It's understandable how it may be hard to compete in a series like XDL for a guy who would have to travel overseas a bunch then. Makes total sense why he picked stuntwars, plus that's where Pfiefer, AC, ect. competed before too...
In my opinion though, XDL is the best comp. PERIOD!

I also want to say that although I strongly agree with JB and Teach. That's all I can say really(for now) because he's better than I am, so who am I to talk??
But JB and teach.. you guys can talk all day!

you cant write it off after watching a minute and deciding you dont like his style...
not to mention, his run had hardly any mistakes, all 180 stoppies done without putting a foot down (regardless of how tall they were).
fact is he showed up on foreign soil, on a bike that wasnt his, and took it to everyone out there.
Im not the one hating
hardly made any mistakes? what the hell were you watching?

You and OMR keep saying, "he was on someone else bike too". that dont mean **** and its not anyones problem but his. No reason to give him more points or slack on judging cuz of it. So should Dan have gotten more credit than deserved cuz he had screws in his tire? ummmm no.

Last year at XDL in Indy, Alex Flores in his warm up crashed his bike pretty damn hard. He borrowed GSE Nick's bike. Guess what we did as judges? WE JUDGED HIM THE SAME WAY AS IF IT WAS HIS BIKE.

Zoltan is a great rider, BUT HE WASNT THAT DAY. PERIOD!

Every year when the Euros go to Stunt Wars they are placed hire than they should be. So the next time you go there, EXPECT THAT!

Bottom line, he shouldnt have won. Nick's run was more impressive than Zoltans and that wasnt the greatest run I've seen from Nick either.

I think the riding surface is by far the best ive ever competed on, the slant portion is a blast to ride on and allows for variety in your riding. i wish all spots had a slanted edge like that. the ground was plenty sticky didnt push the front any more than most places, the flat was wide enough for any circle combo set whatever wheelie upside down circles a person would like to do and the length was more than enough... in fact its probably a lot better than 90% of my 30+ stuntshows a year... i kinda wish i could ride that spot everyday i liked it.

btw remind me...
how many hours have you put it competing or performing on this surface? i dont remember you actually out there at all? correct me if im wrong but you have absolutely no idea what your talking about do you?

now if you wanted to dog the track, the complaint should come from the fact that from the pits the distance to vendors or the crowd was pretty far, and it was hard to watch the comp from the pitts.. eh no biggie.. least the bathrooms were clean.

have a nice day!

the riding surface of the track is not bad at all as far as im concerned , big sprockets are on most of the bikes out there trying to qualify , foot in bar isn't any different then foot in the trunk and almost every one does that and zoltan killed it.

now im not saying had teach bill or dan had complete run that they wouldn't have won because i believe one of them would have but they all had mechanical problems and that sucks but it is what it is .

p.s im not even gonna say any thing about the people hating on the judges cause that happens every year even when the riders say it was fair

+1
