ill just give my personal opinion in that i think that alex's run looked the best with very little mistakes.
this is why im a noob and dont have a cool avatar like everyone else though
if people just stop going to any type of competition because they thought the judging wasn't fair we wouldn't have any type of sports at all. you think the pro athletes in other sports are gonna quit cause they think the refs are being unfair.

read the rules and understand them before you even make a comment about placings.
judging is extremely difficult no matter how well you understand and how many times you have done it...definitely the hardest job at the track and not one that anyone really enjoys.
there is always room for improvement and xdl is no different, but it has continued and will continue to improve and be on the cutting edge of 'rider assessment'
no one rider stood out at all really. no one rode too well and every rider made mistakes, and more than one. 1 point separated the top 3 and it was anyones game, including alex's.
speed and danger. if you ain't goin' fast, you're goin' slow!
can't wait for the indy ruckus!

I'm not saying any of them sucked, or that judging this level of talent is easy. I'm just saying that Jeromy and a few others may have gotten robbed by about 12 points or so...Not that my 
matters...

i completely understand the points system and feel it is necessarry. i also agree it is hard to judge and not much fun. however, i will say out of all the runs though that Jeromy guys was most entertaing. they should just add a placing called "crowd favortie" at each event and let crowd vote at the end by making the most noise for the rider they feel did the best. that way you can have a winner in the actual category for points and series but also a winner based on entertainment value. just an idea.
