HOLY **** DUDE!?!?!
We haven't rode together in a while huh?!
Lookin REAL good.... **** YEA!!!!!
I seriously haven't seen anybody progress as fast as you have. Your doin really really ******* good bro. Holy crap. Ok.... exactly how many months have you been on a big bike??????
Here's my input:
1st off, run at least 18lbs in the rear... more if possible. Preferrably 25-30. I know that you've learned the correct way by just endlessly riding around seeing what the bike does and how to correct it... so if you have been running low pressure, pump it up and do the same thing for a couple hrs and then work into the circles again. Higher pressure will be much easier to keep going, rather than fighting the low pressure.
If you're already at 20 or above then add a few and keep it up.
Instead of using your body to pull it down into the circle when it wants to highside out, use your arms more to push the bike down into the circle and stand straight up (or even toward the outside) rather than leaning in.
Lean in a lil to get the initial dip, then quickly lean out while counter steering (turn bars to the right) and push the bike down and in.... using your right hand/arm to shove the bike down into the circle.
When I was learning them (and now still after long circle sessions), my right forearm gets very sore from using it so much to control ss circles to the left.
And remember.... gas gas gas gas gas!!! Try to concentrate on using as little brake as possible, and just blip when the front end goes down (at least that's how I do em).
Good work buddy.

Re: circle progression clip
canton spot? ehhh.... not bad. I kinda like it there.
All personal preference..... I like about 2700-3000 now.... used to be in love w/ 3800-4000rpms.
I'd have to think that lower idle would be harder to learn initially.
The higher idle, the more brake you have to use, the faster the circle and the easier it is to stall..... but at the same time the less gass you have to input, hence less to think about besides brake and body input.
Try both and use what works for you.
I change it up sometimes just for fun or something different..... circles at stock idle are sort of fun, but hella hard to do smoothly and for any extended time. Extra high idle are fun as hell too... leads to faster wider ones. :YEAH I need alot more practice w/ those myself.

Re: circle progression clip
ever since the day you gave me **** for takin up the slack on the handbrake so that it was draggin a little, ive been turnin the idle lower and lower lol. it just forced me to learn really good throttle control, it even helped my 2nd and 3rg gear stuff. im definitely thamooooove with it now haha! plus no handed seat standers are a bitch for me with the idle that high lol
different canton spot, just as long and better pavement. secret spot haha

Re: circle progression clip
+1 on everything KJ said. Just keep doing them and you'll be killing them in no time. I was were you are 4 weeks ago and now I'm all gas gas gas. Once you start using the gas you'll love it. Just dip it in and gas out of it.
Re: circle progression clip
and i rode alot better on sunday than in that clip cause i was actually warmed up lol
Re: circle progression clip
thanks man, im gonna work on that later today once this heat dies down a little bit... i am on and off the gas alot, just cant really hear it cause im tryin to keep it smooth
