trying to drift

here is a little clip of the drifting i have been practicing the last few weeks. i would like to spin it around in a circle but i always get scared to try to turn it in. i always crash sliding in with the rear locked so i have been trying to just turn to lean over and then clutch it. what do you think? am i on the right track?

if by on the right track you mean way ******* off then yea your on the right track

back it in with the rear brake lean over clutch it and gas it. increase your tire pressure and try to analyze whats happening when you do certain things and youll get it eventually

Re: trying to drift

What you did at the end is what you need to do for drifting.. You were just giving too much gas but man you need to practice at a different spot dude

well on the wide turns im just powering it and sliding out of the turns like the race bikes do on the track. those i feel really comfortable with and i have been sliding around every turn i can on the street. but those are completely different than what most people i see do to drift. thats why i posted a question a week ago or so it seems nobody does them with just power but i cant see doing those any different especially going through an intersection.

but for the slower ones im doing at the end of the culdesac, i know i need to lock the brake and slide it out but i always crash those so i was trying to just turn and then clutch it but you are right i have already high sided a couple of them.
