Just been wondering how much it costs to put a video together from start to finish... average? Where the hell do you guys get your **** printed at anyways...

 

it depends on if your doing it as a hobbiest, or as a real production. What gear ya own, what gear you rent, the software and hardware you have avalible etc. Anyone with a camera that has firewire support and a computer, can edit somethign together. so all and all i would say from about 2000 ( for a low end camera and pc ) to the sky is the limit

 

As stated above. A cheapy PC... $750, used mini DV cam... $400, and you can get free software any where. Then take your mini DV tape to a production company. Usually around $2,000 for 500 copies. But... sell each copy for $20, and you'll make your money back. Remember.... easier said than done!
