Just a little video from last sunday it was JB's first day back on his bike since his surgery............ Also it was Dan Jackson came down to ride his new 636 for the first time..........also Ken and Brandy from 2 ON 1 tandem came out to ride ..................... nothing to special no one has really been ridin much due to the weather

good vid and editing but wish there were a few more clear shots so you can really see the riding

 

yea the quality doesnt help that fact much i need to find a better way to compress

 

dans bike looks great!! too bad you used that walking shot/sequence a lot..

 

agreed..... less walking shots and more clear shots and this would be good.

 

what kind of cam did you film this with?it looks like its shot with film instead of vdeo.. or did you use the editing program on it to make it look like that?

 

yea that clip was more of an expirement just trying to get that film look trying a few different things i use premier pro cs3 and after effects 7.0 all shot with a GL2

For a good film look (old school 8mm) it was not too bad. If you're going to get stuck with a lot of your viewers using youtube/myspace anything you're going to need to be very subtle with an effect like that or it just gets washed into a mess. Also is a content driven clip where a crisp understanding of whats going on is key, you'll need to fall in and out of a heavily doctored look. Such as keep, the walk gritty and transfer to a lesser use of the effect with the riding content. Its just my opinion though so take it as such and do your own thing. I'll keep my eye out for more of your work!

 

+1 and cuz of that i didnt really like the clip, but it was cool to see dan on a FF
