Found a Winter spot but blew my engine :(
I found a spot like half a mile in the snow to get there, full of ice in the huge warehouse but I figured I would try it out and see if I can even pop it up before putting lots of time to clean the place. The surface is really nice and straight just got to clean it up.
Yeah I guess those spins on the side are really bad for the engine. I know the bike hydrolocks just idling on the left side. I think it hydrolocked and blew the engine at high RPM? Seem like it anyway heard a big bangs sparks and smoke...
I was happy to find a spot but know I'm fucked
sorry the footage is crappy I wish I could film and stunt hehe..
But I figured I would show a bit of winter action..

I knew someone would say that.
I didn't know there was a truck coming with us. He had 2 50cc in the back and a bunch of crap and full of snow in the cab. I made it trough but was harder than I thought. His truck is like 10 feet high and was hard to load the bike too hehe. But with a blown engine we managed to fit everything in the back

Edit: Way too slow by about 8 posts.
Further proof that no trick is worth doing unless it's on one wheel. You should know better than that vern! Get er fixed up! It's a sign! Winter is supposed to be for working on bikes!

Re: Found a Winter spot but blew my engine :(
Yeah that's the only positive I can find out of it is to try to build a nice bike for next season. I'd rather blow the engine now than just before June or something. Just sucks that everything breaks at the same time I just put 2000$ to rebuild the transmission for the van. I'm leaving for Spain in a couple weeks.,, no money left for a bike, but I'll figure I'll try to get a new bike instead of an engine.. since I also need a rim, throttle, and pegs.. hehe damn..

I don't know much about motors but the timing chain was making lots of noise and seemed really loose. So maybe the problem started there and laying it on the left was bad for the loose timing chain too

hahah cool clip, you trying to jump on the bike and then falling down was funny to bad of the blown enguine...
but laying the bike on it's side, and giving gas is never good for the enguine... all the oil is going to the side of the enguine instead of to the oil pick-up
good luck in spain and with finding a new bike
