By far the sickest Drifting ever

Re: By far the sickest Drifting ever
Its all just a misunderstanding of lingo/slang vs. technical terms.
Yes they are doing what the bike stunt world calls "rolling burnouts" when they are doing the tight turns and donuts.
Yes they are doing what the bike stunt world calls "drifting" when they are going down the course side to side about to knock over all of the dumb *** bystanders (which shows they have some very good control b/c they are swinging those stretched busa's right next to the crowd and judging that fine line very well. Its all about the physics..)
Yes some it is easier for the tires to spin on a stretched bike, but that doesnt make it easier to do a rolling burnout OR a drift..
Yes they are killing the hell outta those busa's,especially in those tight areas w/o barricades...Not to mention how close they are purposely putting the bikes by the crowd = control.
Yes the crowd is full of morons....
Yes the vid is siiiiiiick.
Yes the lil kid on the pocket bike is killing it and he's siiiiiick.
IMO, w/bikes, u can tell its more of a "drift" by the shifting of weight on the bike and the leaning of the bike. If u do a rolling burnout out on a bike while grabbing a hand full of brake, IMO the bike won't lean much, if it leans at all. But on a drift, the bike's lean angle depends on how tight the turn is. Hey, but what do I know...

Re: By far the sickest Drifting ever
I say morons b/c even though they have trust, things can go wrong. And if something does go wrong, they have NO room to adjust b/c there is NO room for error. Now if the guys weren't coming so close to the crowd I wouldn't have said that. But these guys are doing this burnouts w/in inches, not 5-10 feet but maybe 12-15 inches or so. Not to mention they are shoulder to shoulder w/people all on their backs and everything so even if they tried to back up or get out of the way they couldn't. I like to be close to, but not that close.

Re: By far the sickest Drifting ever
My point exactly. Have u see when those cars crash? At times they tend to take quite a few people w/them, and they aren't coming w/in inches of the crowd. And if I recall correctly, those people are a lil ways away not just a few inches. And sometimes they have hay bails or sumtin in front of them ( which doesn't help much at all )
But I will take back my "moron" statement. I'll just say it like this. I wouldn't stand that close...

Nah that was nothing. There's some euro on super motard doing asphalt drift without putting their feet on tarmac. Leaning drift angles at 30° or less. Rear braking before high speed curve off course. Wicked.
