Trying circles, did my first half decent today!
Trying circles, did my first half decent today!
I spent the last 3 practice only trying circles I was doing them really big last week now it seems to get tighter. I'm using low air pressure and idle at 3500. Any feedback is good thanks.

k first off your going to the right, there is no problem with that but since it is easier to "steer" to the right people think circles will be easier that way. ive heard from most that going to the left is easier. low tire pressure is a no no, have it at least at 20lbs, 22-25 would be better but you can work your way up. try and keep ur body ovver the bike, watch ur video you kind of lean in to get the bike to turn, and once it starts to turn u lean back out and it straightens up...look at anyone else doing circles they stay over the bike and just turn it in, using gas and brake to correct it. i would try ur idle at like 3000 with gearing 3500 might pull to hard and cause u to use to much break, but mess around with it until u find a comfortable spot...also look into the circle, dont lean in try to keep ur body centered, and apply pressure the pegs and the bars to get the bike to turn in....there shud be some lean in the bike the biek should not be straight up and down

yah the bike tends to wobble more the more pressure u have in it, u get used to it though and learn to control it...but u need the tire with air so that the bike is able to lean it.....if the tire is flat it pulls the bike out and wants to highside....your pretty much working against your self....air pressure is your friend
Re: Trying circles, did my first half decent today!
the reason i asked is because doing circles to the right is very differant from going left and you do need to lean your body in when going right the gansta lean will come with time and i watched your video vern and imo i think you need to keep doing what your doing it looks like you are grasping the concept well ....i like my idle about 3500 and my tire about 17 18 pounds and i think you will be doing them perfect in no time..

yea i'm kinda in the same spot i can turn like you and even do real wide circles but i can't lock em up real tight yet i just put alot more air pressure in my back tire and now i'm doin alot better

Thanks man your really keeping my hopes up! I thought I was way off. I will def try more air turn more with the bike. I noticed I need to cut my wheel a bit more so I can turn with the bike. My bars were pretty much straight most of the time.
Thanks for the advice guys, I guess everyone has their own style and it's good to get different point of views.

i was fighting them to the right for a long time right foot on seat then Kendall aka Living Canvas ask me what way do you turn around in the lot or what way are you more comfotable turning this is with both wheels on the ground and i said left and he said you need to try circles to the left so i did and wala im doin three or more everytime i try. stay on top of the bike dont turn it with your body turn it with your arms and try foot on seat and dont pay atention to the bike look into the circle were you want to end up. i know puncution sucks im lazy
