Re: Intense....A Must See!!!

damn, i was gonna ask if you had a HB, PROPS!
coasters improved a lot, your circles still suck though
it would have been cool to throw a scrape in there too...

you want to stay as on top of the bike as you can, thats why standing on the seat helps, you can shift your weight to move in and out of the circle instead of relying on on gas and brake. thats basically what you are doing with your left foot. standing on the seat will definitely help a lot, youre gonna need to do the circles MUCH wider without the left foot on the ground.

knee in the seat wouldnt help you out much, the thing that makes foot on the seat and FIB so good for circles is how it lets you throw your weight around from side to side easily. knee on the seat wouldnt help so much for that...

Re: Intense....A Must See!!!

yea ive slipped of plenty of tims tryin FIS, but what you might wanna try next is staggard circles since you have a peg, it is gonna feel alittle awkward, startin out because your so use to doin sit down circles, i have the same problem i can get like 7 sit down in a row with the foot down, and like 3 or 4 with it up and knobbies, but staggard i always feel like im goin to bar and leanin too far, but you seem to have staggard good so it may be a smoother transition than with me, but yea dude, those knobbies are gangster for the straight line and make really nice burnouts, but if your goin for circles i would seriously think bout puttin a street tire on, you cant really even calm to ride knobbies with that tire, its more like a slick, and it will cause problems for you when you start workin on circles cause you have no grip and your tire will try to spin when you have it lean in for circles.... so yea you may not wanna go motard, but you may wanna get a street tire for just the rear now... i mean how much dirt ridin do you do with that tire now... props on a good video, your progressin well dude, great job....

Re: Intense....A Must See!!!

yea i got an old picture of it... its freakin hard, with a smooth seat your always slippin, but yea let me get the link... best bet is to throw alittle grip tape where you hold your foot that way you dont slid off too fast, but dont grip tape your seat it will burn like a ****.... i will never do that again! heres the picture...

back in the day and yea under BP FIS is easy but once you get bout bp it is soo hard, same for SS Name: P1110112.jpg

and here is a BP SS even those cause my feet to slid sometimes, but on the RM i dont have as much of a problem cause of the seat design, alot more foot friendly i guess...

another thing foot in seat always feels like the bike is tryin to move away from me, not like staggard or SS or anything; its like its pullin away from you on my dirt bikes, not sure if anyone else has this problems, just dont want you to try your first FIS on they highway and have it go bad for ya..... props and you got ***** for gettin out there and tryin new stuff without a handbrake, oh yea and if you want a handbrake, i saw the owner of 50stunt's has a handbrake set up on his 450 you should pm him and ask him bout it he will be able to help ya...

Re: Intense....A Must See!!!

one more thing before i go to bed, if you try FIS circles with a knobbie it is very liable to bite you, because when you dip in your will try for some mad lean and get tire spin and low side.... thus again if you had a street tire, it would have a less chance of occuring, but yea man knobbies are gangster and i still run all knobbies on my dirt bikes, but like the dirt/stunt bike XR100 is bein converted to a street tire on the rear, im tired of low sidin from tire spin while doin circles or, high sidin from comin in too hot and not bein able to lean it without puttin my foot down...

here is a video of my friend jorel stuntin his RM125 with enduro tires, and even those make a huge difference, he still has stock rims and everything on it just enduro/street tires, see how much lean he can get from those tires without it slippin... thats gonna be your problem when you get more room and start tryin wider circles with your foot up.... http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...eoid=593447529
