Re: software

I'm a video production major with over 12 years of editing experience. As a video production company owner, I rely on my Mac ProBook and Final Cut Pro. It's the only way to go for HD editing and I personally find it easy to use. But like "southtown" said... it's all about what works for you and you find easy to use.

I used adobe primere for a couple years before I started using macs. It's a quality program and a good learning tool for advanced editing. You'll be happy with that software. It's a good choice for PC's. Be sure to post up your work when you get something together!

Your editing all starts with the camera and knowing what shots you want, Seeing the final product in your mind before the footage has even been captured is what i do.
