MAC Video editers.... what are you using?
Final cut express or pro? what are expresses limitations, is it just in the effects? Just bought a powerbook pro and was considering final cut express but didnt know if its capable of doing what I want?
Re: MAC Video editers.... what are you using?
I use final final cut pro and like it alot, but it mainly comes down to how much money you want to spend on software because its a $1,000 difference unless you can get the student discount or find it on ebay..

insider secret: download limewire basic (the free version) then download every program you want for free (make sure its a .dmg file aka a disc image) then also download the programs serial number (usually a text file, just keep downloading different serials until one finally works)
ok lets review
1- download the program
2- download a serial number
3- open the disc image file and open the install icon, then when it asks you to enter a serial enter it
4- DO NOT REGISTER (click register later unless of course you wanna get caught for pirating thousands in software)
this is how i started and i recommend it to everyone, learn the programs, use the HELP index, and when u are ready to get serious then go buy the software

If its free then why would you buy it once you are serious?

well the only reason that i purchased the software is because you will notice that when you are using the downloaded versions, sometimes they are a little corky with certain things, plus for only like $1500 you can buy the FCP studio package which comes with final cut pro HD, dvd studio pro, motion and a few other helpful programs, so once you make your first vid you wont mind droppin $1500 at the apple store, but you could theoredically use the free versions forever
