Video software

Quick question, I use pinnacle, but I've seen some home made videos on entensity and other places where the people can edit in like their throwing fireballs and stuff at each other (blood splatter like mortal combat, etc). I searched online but couldn't find what it was.

Anyone know what the name might be?

Re: Video software

lol that's more advanced.. I think they used a DV studio editing software to do that stuff.. It's a prerendered effect; you just name it's place & target; idiot proof; I think it looks crappy though

You're way better off correcting the color in your vid & making interfaces and effects with programs like After Effects.
Basic editing use premiere or avid; can't be beaten.
