anyone know of a good free editing program? i got movie maker 1, but in order to get movie maker 2 i need to download service pack 2....which is full of holes so **** that.

well you could get vegas just like every other stunner editor...or adobe and you can edit low budge low quality videos for home, internet, friends and more...but if you want the real deal after you get good at editing...go out and get.

P.c users...avid...avid mojoe....avid plus....avid pro...there are so many...avid exspress....now this **** aint free and it aint cheap...i have bottom line mojoe avid and avid exspress and it was about 8k all together....cause you better have a video card that will playback that shizzel in real time...

mac users...plan and simple final cut pro....and if you stick with these two then you will be abel to do hdtv editing in about a year cause right now those 2 are the only ones that allow you to import hd and edit it....

or just stick with moviemaker......acid...adobe...vegas...and all those easy to use and learn programs and dont get me wrong i still use everyone i named minus movie maker.......

just my 2 cents thats only worth a cent...

on lime wire download a copy of avid xpressdv v3.5. the crack that comes with it will unlock to the newscutter version which will let you have 24 video and audio tracks along with a super set of color correction options and extra effects. the best is the one that will let you slowdown and speed up your video to any rate you want with ease. and you don't need a great vid card (64mg is ok) just lots of ram. I know, i'm working at a tv station making promos and this is what i use at home on a notebook.

I'm surpised no one here has mentioned Newsgroups...which I might add will still be around when each of these file sharing sites get shut down..

Go and download a newsreader like Newsrover or Agent and learn the power of the newgroups...Its all there and ready for the pickin...
