Re: CHAO5 going for 12

hehe just to be clear.. I wasnt trying to 12, I know I went way higher than I was prepared to go and then flipped it.. hehe it was hella fun though!

No one is going to believe this but: Has anyone else had an experience like this where your feet slipped off the pegs? I know I bailed, but I remember slipping and thinking holy shiat this isn't supposed to happen. I felt like I slid right off the pegs... When it got to 12 I wasnt standing on the front of the rear peg. (If that makes anysense) and I started to slide right off! Thats what spooked me and I tried to put my feet down. Ahwell I'll get this shiat on lock if it kills me.

Ouch...

I know that style of crash all to well...

Glad to see your ok Chaos, takes some spills to get it down though. Good to see your gonna hop back on the horse asap though.

Hopefully I'll get around to slapping my bike back together soon and I'll come out and try and break more parts too...heh

Re: CHAO5 going for 12

you have to stay on to save it with the brake, just try to slow them down with the brake and rock them slow before looping it again

what did you injure on yourself and the bike??????

Re: CHAO5 going for 12

hey at least the rev limiter works....if you wanna try these again do it from a stop and go for slow..that way if you do put your feet down you can walk the bike back down to 2 wheels safely....not get drug behind it haha

Yea.. heavy rear brake practice next session.

Me: Light rash on knee cuz I was too lazy to wear my kneepads.
Strained right hand (healed close to new in 2 days). kinda stiff/sore allover thighs and shoulders. not too bad though.

Bike:

Lightly rashed upper, windscreen, tailsection, 12bar, cage.

Broken spool / shifterside footpeg. Broke both mirrors and turnsignal (fixed with contact cement) Bent/shifted the FI cage about an inch to the right side. Still in excellent shape though.

It was fun, I'd do it all over again if I were wearing kneepads. (I'll prolly do it allover again next week anyways.)
