do you use for editing? I'm looking for something rather simple, not some "pro" stuff...and where to download plz...

i use vegas 5 also. it's really simple once you get the basics down. premiere is pretty cool too.....kinda set up like photoshop.

 

I use premiere, but its such a resource hog. If you don't have an awesome computer, you're in for trouble.

It really depends on the quality of work you are trying to produce and how much money you have to spend! I personally would suggest buying the best software that your $$ will allow; take the manual that come with the software and throw is right in the trash; goto the book store and buy a real book specfic to your software and then learn it inside and out! You'll be very surprised as too the type of work you can create with the most basic "cheap" video editing packages out there.

IMHO: No program, no matter how "professional / expensive" will ever replace good ol' creativity and solid content!

 

In VV4 all you need to do is go to the help menu and click on contents and index or just press the F1 key. The contents tab and index tab will have everything you'll ever want to know about the program. I hope that helps.
