yup, that's right shipmates, I made it through Navy boot camp!! Through all the trials and tribulations, and Battle Stations, I made it Unfortunatly my E-2 advancement didn't go through because my recruiter screwed me, but I'll get it soon. It was one hell of an experience, and now I have to wait here on Pensecola Hold, because NAS Pcola got trashed by the hurricanes. I could be here for up to 6 weeks Oh well, it's not like I'll be treated like a recruit still, I get on base liberty for the week and off base on weekends. So much to say, but I have other shipmates who want to use the computer. I'll be poking my head in every so often though. Peace out!

I hear Pensacola is the *****... for Marines at school at least. Sailers get it a little tougher, but you'll have fun.

Everyone always says that their recruiter screwed them over, but the way I see it is if you didn't read your contract or do the research to what you are signing it all falls on you. When I was in AVI A school, guys would always complain about how they're recruiter screwed them over, but it was their own fault. I'm not trying to be a dick, just tired of hearing I got screwed by recruiter. You'll make E-2 in A-school easy. Great to hear you made it through Navy's boring a$$ boot camp.

nah, my recruiter was on his way out and he was late on handing in the paperwork, and it didn't get processed. Oh well, I'm an AV waiting to go to Pcola for school. I'm stuck here for a little bit while they reconstruct.

Well now I'm attending ATT (Apprentice Technical Training) here in dreary ole Great Lakes. It's alright, and my AV job went to ATO, which is kind of cool. However, I'm told that I'll be stuck here for a bit after I graduate the program, which is 2 days before Turkey Day.

Anybody go to school here? Anything good to do on liberty weekends? Any suggestions would be cool.
