I don't know what it is, but Im starting to lose patients for this country and everything about it. Lately I've been irritable. Just can't wait to get out of here. At least I go home for my leave in a month, but so far I've been here almost 8 months and I know that its not like I've been here as long as the 1AD was, but man, really starting to hate it. Anyone else thats been here felt this way after been in country awhile. Im stuck at the Abu Ghraib prison which is a piece of ****, maybe thats it. I guess I'm really just venting. o well, not like its forever.

 

If your over there and have access to the internet just be thankfull cause you got it a lot better than most of my friends.

 

Im thankful for what I'm lucky to have, Just saying that I hate this country and everything it has to offer, and my chain of command.

 

If you can't use the net to rant and vent indiscriminately than what good is it for??? Research?? HA!!


that's not sarcasm either... If you can't bitch about your chain then it will build up until you walk into the CO's with an M9 and start blazing... Can't have that ****.. I'd vent with you but my problems prolly wouldn't seem big enough.. I'm still stateside until sometime mid December but I already feel doomed. No one has ANY idea what needs done to get the unit ready and being near the bottom I'm paralyzed without leadership to task me on missions. I just sit around all day wondering if they'll make decisions or have a meeting when mortars start raining down on us... Fuggin bummer but what can you do?? Keep your eyes up and head down and take care of the people around you I guess... Sounds like you got your head on straight though, I couldn't imagine feeling any other way if I were stationed out there (aviation gets it easier, we stay with the USAF a lot)...
