What the ****? It's like someone took the Marine Corps camies, but a urban warfare version, added a gay-bondage collar, and some HORRIBLE looking nametapes and other gay looking **** on there.
It looks soooooo bad, I'd like to punch the creator in the face.
I seriously hope this is a joke

Re: *Copy Cats*
God i don't want to wear those things. and to think i had to go to some stupid conference and the were talking about these, all the patches and name tapes come on and off with velcro Oh yeah won't we be so freaking cool
Re: *Copy Cats*
The name tapes and patches are so freaking ugly I cant stand it. And I really want to see a pic of that damn collar folded down. If there's not a way to fold that down I think it would suffocate you in the heat. Not to mention the farmer tan you'd end up with!! The color choice is absurd.. Are they trying to blend in with the blue slushy machine in 711??? They REALLY have their hands full trying to explain this mess. You see what happens when officers get together and have meetings without the pissed off old timer enlisted folks to keep tabs in them?? They're like children I tell ya, and that uniform looks like something a kid would draw...

When digitals first came out I was in 29 and I can't tell you how many sets of cammies and covers got stolen out of driers!
Re: *Copy Cats*
It's officers that have the final go ahead. That's where I was going with that. I'd like to hear what the soldiers in Iraq said about it when they first got the test uniforms.. I wonder what the Iraqi people think of soldiers who wear blue to fight in the desert. I remember my friend (truck mechanic) saying the HMMWV's and 5 tons still painted green drew more fire than ones painted in the desert colors. I wonder if that would hold true for uniforms as well?? I guess we'll find out... But with the velcro nametapes I could by Capt Smith one day myseld another day... That'd sure help when signing stuff out from supply :YEAH
Re: *Copy Cats*
Well it is very very few really really high ranking officers that give the go ahead don't lump us all in there. but actually my dad saw the uniforms first hand and they do provide concealment in both urban and even the desert. i know it sounds surprising. they are also water resistant and IR .... oh i forgot the word. i still don't like the way they look but i trust my father i know he wouldn't wear anything that made him more of a target.
