To: Our Servicemen And Women

I want to THANK YOU....from the bottom of my heart. I know alot of you are away from your Family, Friends, Homes and Hobbies. I think of you guys often and pray that you come home safe and in good health. I hope this reaches you and you feel somewhat appreciated. I respect you guys and hope that you're shown respect wherever you may be. Stay true to the things that really matter in life. Thanks again guys!!!

If you read this and you're not in the service, drop a kind gesture for our servicemen and women.

If you read this and you're in the service and a Civilian has done something nice for you let us know.

I was wondering also...What do you guys expect from Civilians when home or abroad? How do you feel we should show appreciation?

You guys come home safe!!!

I agree with you 100%. I have a brother two guys that I work with and a few friends over there. I think of them everyday At work we have pictures that one of them keep sending to us and he said that it is worse than HELL over there. I hope that they al return home saftly. It's because of them that the rest of us are able to enjoy the lifestyles that we have today. GOD BLESS ALL OF OUR TROOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: To: Our Servicemen And Women

I...... we appreciate the kind words my friend!

As for what I expect when I'm home? I expect a little leienency (sp) with traffic tickets, I know I sound like an ******* whe I say that, but every little bit helps when you have the driving record I do.

On a serious note, more than anything I just hope no one catches on. It's nice to come home and be just like everyone else.

Don't get me wrong. I"m wicked proud of the my choice to join and serve, and am in no way embarrased by it, but its nice to come home and just be me again, without the hair cuts, the "YES SIR NO SIR"s, the military stuff.

As for people who hooked me up? ALOT of people ask me if I need anything, seeing as how I"m serving overseas. I almost always tell them that I could not accept anything when my boy Ssgt Don is suffering like everyone else in Iraq.

My friend Aaron (BigPimpinDaddy) hooked Don and his unit up GOOD! Between Aaron, his unit, and the Lutz Patriots of Tampa Bay, Don's got one hell of a care package heading his way! Flags, snacks, a football.... a true miracle. I can only do so much from Armenia, so it really means alot to me when other people step in and send these care packages to our men and women in Iraq.

I'll set down from my soapbox now, but a HUGE thanks goes out you the American Public for your continuing support of your heros abroad! Thank so much *TEAR*

Re: To: Our Servicemen And Women

thanks for the appreciation. i think the best thing ever is when i had a total stranger tell me thank you. also the people who send care packages and letters thank you so much, there are lots of soldiers over there who aren't as lucky as my brother and some of my friends (who get a package almost every other day) and letters and goodies from anyone really help.
