Re: 229th Birthday of the Army, by M. W. Hagee, Genreal USMC
Funny story, off topic but kinda funny. There are all sorts of change of commands going on out here lately and today i was part of one. Well I was executing Present Sword, and when i went back up to Carry Sword I sliced a huge gash in my cheeck like right where my cheek bone is. I dont know how i did it. I am awsome with my NCO sword and I just dont know how i did it. Needless to say i now have 5 stitches in my cheek and some blood stained chucks. I think that it was because my hand was sooooo sweaty that the sword just slipped a little and, well, made me look like an *** in front of ALOT of people. Any way.......just thought i'd share that. :YEAH

At least you didn't lose your bearing and completed the movement flawlessly right? I would expect no less.
Thanks for the chuckle, and remember everyone makes mistakes!

And my ******* roomate ran into the bathroom so I couldn't assess the damage. I had to go door to door till I found someone still in their room and use thier bathroom.
