I fuggin hate when I tell people that I'm in the military, their first response is "are you crazy, can't you see what is goin on ova there, you know that you're gonna die".......what fuking idiots, I know what could happen, does it stop me? NO....I still joined the military to get my experience and to serve the country that I love.......arrogant ***** just dont get it......

you should not get pissed so easily and you are in St. Louis, so that tells me you are probably in the air force? Just ride hard and not worry about what everyone says. Most the ppl I know always show a hand and thank me for serving. As long as you joined for the right reasons. I see that you are only 18 I would drink a beer with you any day myself b/c I am a firm believer in special privelages for special people.

i know exactly how u feel...i just joined the national guard in feb. ....i leave for basic may11th(dam thats right around the corner) to fort jackson and go to ait in fort eustis(sp?)... and i joined a brand new unit so u know i have a good chance of going somewhere, unless they leave b4 i get back but im not sure how that works if i would have to catch up with them where ever theyre at

well anyway...i got alot of those ''are u crazy?'' and ''why?''....i really hate the ''why?'' remarks....thats the one that eats me up under my skin and makes me want to back slap em for some reason....but i usually jus say ''why not?''...
