Anyone in Iraq at the moment?

Or headed there? I'm gearing up to leave this god-awful place and I'm just wondering if anyone else is. If you're fittin' to come here soon, let me know where. I can tell you quite a bit about the Baquba/Balad area.

My boy Don's a 2111 over in Iraq with the 2nd CSSG. I never made it to the desert (29 palms count?) just luck of the draw. Good luck to all of you out there!

don't know why some of you all are bitching? Just think about when you guys get back, all the cash you will have. Tax free, combat pay, nothing to spend your money on. You all will be banking unless you are married or E-1's with 30 thousand dollar cars. **** I would go back over there in a heart beat.

I understand where youre coming from bro, but after a few times over here, and not enough time home to enjoy the things you saved all the money for in the first place, it starts to get a little tiring, ya know?

And besides that I bought everything I wanted after the first time I was there!

I'm here, in Northern Iraq and this place sucks, the pay isn't worth it, I'm an E-5 and not married. I would be making a bit more back home. Anyways I'm here for another 10 months or so, so if any of you guy's or girls go up route 1 70 miles north of the bad place I'll see you there

I'm over here in TQ near Fallujah. This is my 3rd time in the middle east, 2nd time in Iraq. I could give a **** less about the money... Either way i'm here and I have another 6 to go so guess i'll just soke up the sun...
