Re: wooo hooo

LOL, Security Forces is the largest career field in the Air Force, 22,000 stong, also it is the most widely spread out, meaning there are cops on EVERY Air Force installation, if you want something where you know where you are going to be, don't be a cop. They will make you choose when you first get to Tech School where you want to go, but chances are you won't get it, needs of the Service lol

They may have promised you the nice patrol car but you’ll more than likely end up riding a gate or standing guard over a plan for 8 straight hours like you say freezing your *** off.

The Air Force (or any other service for that matter) can be tough for a new recruit who doesn't come in with an open mind and a willingness to accept that they are starting from the bottom. Not saying you're one of them I am just saying overall i think promises get made but rearly kept. Keep in mind, it can only get better and it could always be hellova lot worse.
I work on the Air Staff at Air Force Headquarters. Sounds better than it is although I get a rather broad perspective of the Air Force as a whole. Good luck with your training.
