Ok so if i made the choice a year ago to sign up when i was done with my degree this winter should i leave before or after my 25th birthday to go to basic?

yeah well I am thinking of it but i do of a trip i need to make to see someone before i go, then i might go before my birthday! this is a hard choice after all it is my 25th! who knows maybe my birthday present will come early on my trip!

im gonna be in basic on my bday, kinda a drag...but at least it will be ait and not actual basic, i'd prolly cry lol

no way. Go after your birthday. I remember I was supposed to get out of Tech school and fly back home the day before my birthday but ended up having to be still away from family and friends on my birthday cause I failed a test. It sucked. Have your birthday first and then go. Just my opinion. to your birthday.

If you really want to join then a 25th Birthday should not be stopping you. Your birthday is in April why would you wait 4 months to join because it is your 25 birthday. What is so special about 25? If you think 4 months of you life is worth wasting so you can party on your 25th birthday then maybe you should rethink about joining the miltary since you are not 100% commited.
