You got that right bro. Ive been in for 5 years and loving it. I have two more days left in my deployment to Manas AB in Kyrgyzstan and then I go home. Block 3 and 4 are fun but make sure you keep hydrated and well listen to the instructors. Yea Hazmat is a bi**h but I know I will catch flac for this but if the marines can pass it you can too. Block six is long and tough. Just keep your spirits high and stay away from the intel chick because that stuff makes them nutz.
Remember this, every one thinks we are lazy and do nothing but wash fire trucks but they love us when we save something/someone.

Yes, but the thing about it is that the base will actually pay for it if they go through a local college for the course. All you have to do is go through the safety manager on base. They will pay for either the beginner course, which I recommend if you don't ride to much, but if you ride alot take the advanced course which they will pay for as well. They pay for either one, but not both so depending on your skill level see which one to take. The beginner is like 4 hours thurs. night and then all day sat. and half day sun., but the advanced is all day sat. and half sun. If you need any info PM me and I will hook you up with what you want to know.
