Aussie soldier concerned!
Aussie soldier concerned!
this is for all you US military people out their and any Australians and allied forces out there.
I am wriiting now because i feel concerned about what is going on in Iraq. I was watching a t.v program here in melbourne on chanel 2 about the affect on the soldiers. Being a soldier my self and having support for the US it looked very upsetting to see what is going on.
I just want to know how everyone is doing and that you are all coping.

Hey Brandon I noticed your avatar says ur in Iwakuni...Are you a Marine? I was there from 1997-1999...Marines also....and to R1andy...thanks for your concern...it's nice to hear from a person outside of the US that roots for us...
I am a Sgt. im the Marines stationed in Japan for three years now. Did you ride when you were here. If so have you ever made the Spa Rakaun run. I am leaving in december to return home though. It has been a great four years but time to move on. Me and my buddies took a 17 day vacation to Sydney to stay with some of our freinds that are in uni there. I also partied with a bunch of RAAF in Guam. Some of the coolest guys I have meet so far. We are partying in Singapore right now. I will try to post some pics that I have taken here. There are alot of 2-stroke riders here. Not really any wheelie guys but these guys can roll some huge endo's on those little *** bikes. We busted out some video for them and they went nuts. I gave them this website and told them how to sign up. Hopefully the post soon.
I never did the Spa Rakun run...but I had a friend that had an Aprilla 250cc and I used to ride it a lot...also had a buddy who had a Honda, can't remember the exact model but is was also a 250cc but he pissed off some guys and they threw it off the sea wall into the river ....lmao( is it called the Manza or Ganza?)....I had a Yammi YZ 250 and me and some buddies would go up into the mountains and ride on a track an old Japanese man made....Japan was a blast...it was nice to come back home though...I spent 8yrs in the Corps total ..got out as a SSgt.....but had a lot of good times in Thailand and I also stopped into Guam during a West Pac....What is your MOS? When I was there I was a 7051 (ARFF)....ride safe bro and welcome back to the States...a little early....
I am a 6531 ordnancemen for F-18's. I have about three months left on my contract and then I am calling it a day. It has been great but I just need to move on to something else. Thailand is awsome though. We were in Kurat and took a three day trip to Bangkok. Never made it to Pataya though. It was off limits when we were there. Thanks for the welcome back, it will be nice to be back after three years here.
