Thinking about enlisting but not sure. I hear more bads things than good things about the navy, military. Can you guys give me some advice? I dont wanna get screwed over when i go sign up. I'll also have my girlfriends dad, a master chief diver, SDV outta norfolk. I'm here in panama city where the dive school is, its always interested me..thinkin about going for DIVER, not sure. Can you guys shed some light on this?

Don't know much about the Navy bro, but I got almost 6 years in the Army. I'd ask your girls dad, since he's in the Navy.... Have him take you to a recruiter

 

Didn't you just move to FL? Why do you want to join the military?

 

my dad was in the navy and he wished everyday that he had joined army or marines instead

 

i liked the navy, just don't go in undesignated. you'll be a bitch on the boats for a year or so till you can get some training. you take the ASVAB yet?

dude i was in the marines did my time got out and joined the seebees the navy sucks but i have a pride isssue i cant stand the uniforms im thinking about bailing out .since im in the reserves and i have to honorable discharges from usmc so im not worried bout what happens but for you i would talk to her dad, being a diver is agood thing if you can get welding experince underwater you can get out and make some big bucks or you could just go the school in jersey i think skip the squids make big bucks and make your own calls
