**** son i help build that place. i remember when it was fire base stormy then we came and built it a named it fob salerno. back in 02. also what do you do going all around like that.

also i remember when the first c130 landed there.

yeah it has come a long way. I have to say it is one of the nicest and my favorite fob out of anywhere i have been. It still has the gravel runway they are working on paving roads and the runway but its been a super slow process.

I work with finance and do contracting, so we service 3 brigades, basically all of rc east

Pretty much me and one other NCO do all the traveling and everyone else chills at salerno, but it has helped the time pass faster

We are based out of Taji, Iraq but we occupied our AO/ "battlespace" in tarmiyah. Our Jss has one female medic and no room to do anything.

**** Iraq I was at fob Riviera, Hawas, and Ziemer from 08 jan until 08 aug and finally got home sept 1st... What branch and mos are you guys I'm a combat engineer which equals grunts bomb finder because eod wouldn't listen to them.... This was my deployment in a nutshell
