So far here's the breakdown we work 12hrs days six on one off.
My free time so far i pretty much just been spending in the gym; Monday,wednesday,friday,satuday is weight lifting, tuesday,thursay,sunday is jui-jitsu. Next month i'm going to try and prep class for a CLEP test.
But pretty much after I leave the gym and I take a shower its the end of the day. On my days off well i just sleep in, make some phone calls back home, use the pc and try and borrow a movie.
Let me know what you guys did to make time move faster especially if you're here for a year. I'm only here for 4 months thank god.

i was on a ship for 6 months in iraq-we killed time by playing Halo,smoking cigarrettes, watching bike vids,smoking cigarrettes, working on warfare shiit and smoking cigarrettes.

well. my platoon is the mobile assaullt platoon or MAP. theres 3 sections. im in section 2. we have three different tasks, QRF(quick reaction force), Missions, and gaurd. its a 3 week rotation. every week you change.missions you have set times which you will patrol, but we usually do 3 or 4 patrols every day. QRF we chill until we get called out, it gets hectic. and gaurd we have 4 hours on post and 8 hours off. i lift everyday, day dream, watch ****, play stupid games with my buddies, watch movies, computer and phone. its really pretty boring over here

i try to avoid all ieds( doesnt work sometimes ) avoid getting mortared (still happens) avoid small arms fire ( an occasional event ) play video games sleep eat and watch movies. by the way youre at anaconda so life there is not bad.

we stoled an army 2 1/2 ton truck (old) we got tired of walking. it was good for two weeks till we got caught. don't really remember having to much time. been out of the corps for a year now. just joined this site tonight.
