I can see where it "could" be adulterous, but under the elements of Adultery it requires intercourse. But in the Explaination, it does same something to the effects of descrediting your unit and the reputation of the armed forces....
Re: Is it illegal....
I'm sure there is something under art:134 that applys to that.....but once again that article applys to just about anything.
At the most severe action maybe a 15, but I doubt that with as many people that have viewed it on a GOV computer get a commanders level LOR....I realy dont think you have anything to worry about

Re: Is it illegal....
While I was in kosovo I hooked my personal laptop up to an open port in the arms room that I was in charge of every day. Cause I wanted to DL music and games and surf the web. Figured there was no harm in it. I never once looked at **** or downloaded anything scandelous. The system administrator noticed all the activity on my computer from downloading or some **** and pretty much kicked the door in gestapo style (three dudes in trench coats... it was interesting). They took my computer, BC whiped it, and I wasn't allowed to have it back. I got an article 15 and rumors started flying throughout the entire company about why I was caught. The rumors were worse than the 15. But I think the reason I got the 15 is because I signed a USERAR (SP?) agreement that said I would use my own computer. I of course never read the document as I had been signing 6 billion things that day. Oh well, you live and learn. It was only company grade. YOU on the other hand, have your own personal line.. and therefore, you can do whatever the hell you want with it. ENJOY

Simple answer... No. (read on)
There are ways for your unit, or higher command to nail you for viewing pornographinc material. But, in general, if you pay for your internet, and you use a personal computer, you are fine. Considering that you are NOT viewing child ****, and if you are, I hope you die.
You could be charged with;
Art 90 UCMJ Assaulting or willfully disobeying superior commissioned officer or Art 92 UCMJ, Failure to obey a order or regulation. If your commander, or higher authority, makes a policy that prohibits your **** viewing. They can do this, and some places have because of all the bullshit from sexual harrasment cases out there.
You could be chaged with Art 134 UCMJ, General article, if the **** you are viewing at all disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces, all conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces, and all crimes and offenses not capital. So in simple words if it starts to effect the unit, then it's a violation of Art 134 UCMJ.
You can also be charged under the SOFA (Status Of Forces Agreement) acts if you are stationed overseas. This means you can be charged under local laws for viewing ****. This also rings true if your station falls in some state, or county that has made it illegal to have ****.
Violations under all the above, can result in a courts martial, but I doubt it would ever go that far (short of child ****). View your ****, and effect that good order and disipilne of your unit.
